Nalgonda is situated on Hyderabad-Guntur railway line at a distance of 100 km. from Hyderabad. Nalgonda town is a genial spot for establishing engineering and other professional colleges as it is near to the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and densely surrounded by various industries. Apart from being District Head Quarter, and "A"­grade Municipal town, Nalgonda is an excellent education-center with a moderate cost of living where lot of private accommodation and mess facilities are available. Excellent bus and train facilities are available from Hyderabad, Guntur and other towns of the State.

The Swami Ramananda Tirtha Educational Society was founded in 1992 by highly qualified and experienced group of people with the sole intention of starting educational institutions for providing high standards of technical education to the students of to-day going to be backbone of India.' particularly of Indian Industry.

Sri. K.Anantha Reddy is the chairman of the society. and under his dynamic and able leadership the society is progressing by leaps and bounds.

The College was established in the year 1996and is functioning in its own building with a campus area of 30 acres and a built up area of 8500 sq.m. Apart from excellent hostel facilities exclusively for about 100 girls on non-profitable basis, the Institution is having adequate infrastructural facilities likeDrawing Halls, Laboratories, Work Shops, Library,video library, digital library and internet centre for students and amenities like canteen,and aslo training and placement cell for the training the students in their career.

Presently the college is running 8 UG courses ( Civil - 60, EEE - 90, Mech -60 , ECE - 120, CSE-120, Chem -60 , EIE -60 and IT-60 ) with a total intake of 630 seats and 2 P.G courses like MBA and MCA with an annual intake of 60 students in each course. Apart from this the Insititution is also running 4 PG Programmes in engineering like M.Tech( CSE,ES,VLSI-SD and CAD/CAM ) with an annual intake of 18 seats in each.

Total Annual Intake of this Institution : 822 ( UG + PG ).

Qualified and experienced faculty members are working in all the branches of engineering and Humanities and sciences.
