SRTIST has the distinction of producing engineers par excellence
right from its inception. The Alumni who passed out from this
Institution have not forgotten their alma mater but are part
of the alumni association. In order to bring them together,
a database pertaining to the alumni has been created and is
being constantly upgraded. It is intended that by interaction
through cyber networking the alumni may know the whereabouts
of batch mates, benefits from the placement cell wherein vacancies
or opportunities, as the case may be, are utilized, contribute
to or gain from the creation of a knowledge bank and be encouraged
to interact and participate in discussions. Such a database
helps identify potential sources among alumni who may be willing
to render useful service to the institute. Thus the alumni
association becomes a common platform for the alumni to meet,
interact and share views on matters of common interests.
For the Institute , the true worth of its activities, in the
long run, is the success of its alumni. To assist in strengthening
the link with alumni, the Institute has setup alumni committee
. It makes the Institute proud to know that its alumni have
achieved success in their endeavors and reached the highest
positions in all fields. Whether it is research, academics,
industry, entrepreneurship, or management.

We also decided to pursue to open Book Bank by all departments
with collection of one boo from our old students.
We are also planning for a News Bulletin of our Alumni Association.
We are in the process of getting feedback from our Alumni.
We would like to organize a get-together
of our Alumni.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To serve as a forum to promote and foster relationship
among the alumni, the present students, the staff and the
management of SRTIST
2. To help the Alma mater is its effort to achieve excellence
in technical and professional education
3. To actively and constructively participate in the well
being of the SRTIST by utilizing the good-will, rich experience
and services of the alumni who are a fraternity of professional
engineers of various disciplines spread all over the world.
4. To institute scholarships, revolving loan fund, prizes/medals
etc., for the deserving students of SRTIST
5. To maintain continuous interaction between the past and
present students by publishing a news letter, holding periodical
Alumni day celebration or by any other means as decided by
the association.
6. To contribute towards improving entrepreneurship development
activities, campus placements, library and centers of excellence
at SRTIST
7. To arrange lectures by eminent Alumni and other eminent
personalities for the benefit or students and alumni.
